Open up new horizons with university experience

University experience includes a really vast range of things. During that period of life, you learn to live on your own and be responsible for yourself. When you first move out from your family’s home you might face a couple of challenging aspects of the life of a young inexperienced adult. You wanted that breath of fresh air, that independence of the adult life; instead, you got responsibilities, bills and hard time managing your schedule. As time goes by, the life of a student starts being less chaotic and frustrating. Being a student can also be fun and easy. You get to meet a lot of people, make new friends, study what you love and the most important – every day takes you closer to being a professional in the field you’ve chosen.
Living in rented apartments, which most of the time are shared with roommates, can be very beneficial as it teaches you how to effectively communicate with people. While being a university student you will also learn at least the basics of the culinary art, and long days and sometimes nights of studying will result in your skills of making really good coffee.
Living on a budget and managing grocery shopping along with saving a certain amount of money for partying, having to pay the rent on time each month will help your financial skills.
University is a place where you not only gain the knowledge for your future profession but also experience and embrace the diversity of life. It’s a place where you meet people from all over the world. This will open up new horizons for you.
Once you’re done with your studying program, you will miss that time you spent being a student. You will have to find a job and a new apartment and maybe even move to another city for work. Moving and transferring your belongings can be done easily if you use the help of this very useful website

University Memories

University will always be memorable to me, even more memorable than High School and Elementary School combined. University is where I truly experienced life and where I met other people and how to be independent. I believe that you really learn how to be independent when you live alone and learn things on your own. It’s crazy because I went through so many things in first year.

First year was really hard for me because I was going through so much. School was not easy anymore. I could honestly say that I was not prepared for school. It was too hard. It required too much time and at the time, all I wanted to do was just chill. It was so easy to be distracted because I wasn’t living at home anymore. I was living alone. I had no rules to live by anymore. It was so hard because I had to apply these rules that I knew about and force myself to live by then or else it wouldn’t be good for me. I almost failed first year because I was chilling too much. Thank God that I had passed and was able to go continue my education in second year engineering in the specialized stream of computer engineering.

Second year was recovery for me. I had gone through so many things in first year that I had to just recover from it. Second year for me was a second chance at university. I started meeting new people, started trying to get my life together, and started meeting the right people. I met my best friends in university and learned so much from everybody. I could honestly say that it was the beginning of new friendships and memories and tough times. I couldn’t believe how amazing this second chance has become and I am truly blessed by it.

One of my favorite memories, was when my friends and I went to this amazing event, we had such a blast, drinking, partying and just generally having a great time. We drunk so much that we had to end up taking a taxi home. It was a night that we would never forget

Third year was awesome. Out of all the years in university, third year was the best for me. It was the hardest academically but it was still amazing because I was so close with my study group. We endured the hardship together and it just brought us closer. We spent so much time with each other that we knew each other so well. I can recall so many late nights studying and cramming for exams. The end goal of third year was to find an internship that paid well because that’s what everyone else was doing. It meant taking a year of to work but that didn’t matter because working is where everyone was going to end up anyways. Third year ended with an amazing moment, everyone in our study group was able to find an internship and we were all going through our separate ways to becoming engineers.

Fast forward one year after internship, I’m finishing my final year of university. At this point, I’ve been through a lot. I learned about relationships, about people, the work force, having friends and being free. It was finally time to finish my journey in my academic career and I definitely finished it off well. I never did so well before until my final year of university. I actually found it easier to do well in courses because of the year of experience I gained in the industry. I learned how to work and how to actually take things seriously. I learned how to be dependent on my own and I learned how to complete tasks in a timely manner. Thank God I was able to finish University and begin the next chapter of my life.

High School Memories

High School was a very interesting time in my life. It was definitely different from elementary school because things got a little bit more serious. I felt like I was a big kid now because I was in High School. I felt like I was smarter, better, and even cooler. I feel like I went through a lot in High School now that I think about it. I learned about how smart people really were and just a different crowd that I had to interact with.

Grade 9 was a really interesting time in my life because I met so many new people. I remember High School had so many events that I went to and I just went there by myself not knowing who I’d meet. It was really cool because I met so many different people. They really gave me an impression that would last a long time. Till this day, I can recall all the events that I went through. It was also not a very difficult time academically because it was just review and easy stuff. Although, I didn’t do too well in math and was really bummed out about it because I thought I was going to end up in the applied stream of courses instead of the academic stream which meant my fate was to be in college instead of university. Honestly in retrospect that was bogus.

Grade 10 was a little different. I met new people still because the new batch of people were now grade 9. I remember meeting a few of the niners and thinking that I was still apart of their generation because they we’re only just one year younger. Grade 10 was pretty easy in terms of academics. I think the only thing that I continued to struggle with was english. I’ve always thought that english was the most tedious and annoying  course to take because the grades were subjective and were dependent on the teacher. I found that it varied and always felt wrong about that.

Grade 11 was the beginning of a serious commitment for me. It was time to get real and start thinking about where I would be going to. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to become yet but I knew I either wanted to work in the trades or wanted to work with computers. A family friend who was landscaper and owned a landscaping service business had been telling me the pros and cons of working for such a company. I also loved working with computers. This was going to be a tough decision. At this stage in life, many people are lost and don’t know what to do yet so they start taking everything they can so they can have options. I decided to focus on computers and started specializing in a few things in computers. I was also doing pretty well in math by now.

Grade 12 was the final step before going to post secondary school. I continued my journey in pursuing computer related courses and specializing in them because I have finally applied to a University for the Engineering program. I felt like it was perfect and I knew exactly what I was going to do. The moment I got my offer letter, I decided to treat myself to an amazing dinner at The Keg!

Elementary School

Elementary School is a place where a lot of growing and learning happens. Usually you find out who the smart kids are in this stage of life because they act and think a bit different and work a little different. I was always the kind of kid who observed other children and tried to copy them if I thought it was the right thing to do. No doubt I was a troublemaker and a bit of a rascal when I was in elementary school, but I tried my best to be a good kid.

I remember when I was In grades 1-3, school was just a place to go to and have fun. I didn’t really think about the activities and things that I was learning about or if I actually did learn. I guess it didn’t really matter to me or I didn’t really think much at the time. I remember one of the kids that I thought was my friend told me that he didn’t really want to hangout with me because he thought I was a bad influence. I thought that was funny at the time because he was a bad influence to me! I guess it doesn’t matter now but in retrospect, I knew that I was a bad kid trying to keep his moral compass straight.

I moved to another school when I was in grade 4 because my family had moved to a brand new house. I remember this time of my life, leaving my old friends didn’t matter because I don’t think I was really friends or close with them. To me, they were just people I knew or talked to but they were not really my best friends or anything. When I moved to the new school though, I met people that became my long life friends that I still talk to today. They’re the kind of friends that I grew up with and chilled and played games with.

As I grew up into the higher grades of elementary school, I began to realize who I was hangout with and how it would affect my personality and decisions. This really helped me decide who I wanted to be friends with and what kind of person I wanted to be. I knew that if I hung out with the people at school who didn’t do too well in terms of grades, then I would also fall into that category. Luckily I knew that the people that I hung out with was pretty smart! They were hard working students and had many hobbies! They loved photography, running, playing board games, and biking! I thought it was really cool and got along well with them.

I remember I had a few friends that just loved to go to another friends house during lunch time because he had a trampoline in his backyard. His backyard has this giant trampoline that all the kids knew about and loved to jump on it. It was so cool because it was so big and you could seriously have so much fun during lunch time. One of the best things I remember as a kid was jumping on that trampoline and just feeling so free! I couldn’t believe that a kid would be so lucky to have a giant trampoline in his backyard.

Voting in Wauwatosa schools can be coming to an conclusion.

The superintendent instructed WISN 12 information or not it’s a safety situation.

Yet on one day or how many other days that we have for elections, they are spread out?’ and fogeys get worried when there may be access to children,” Wauwatosa faculty District Superintendent Phil Ertl stated.

The Wauwatosa faculty Board will agree with a advice Monday to cease the usage of colleges as polling locations after this autumn’s presidential election. A vote is scheduled for 7 p.m

Seventy Five Illinois high Faculties Among Nation’s Most Challenging

Seventy-five excessive schools in Illinois rank among the nation’s most challenging, according to the Washington submit.

challenging high schools

The Washington put up’s annual rating assesses pretty much 2,300 high schools across the U.S. in line with a components it calls the “problem Index” ratio, which is calculated by taking the overall number of superior placement, foreign baccalaureate and superior foreign certificates of schooling exams administered at a given college in 2015 and dividing by the variety of seniors who graduated that identical yr.

A ratio of at the least 1.00 potential a college had as many tests in 2015 as graduates, however most effective 10 % of the roughly 22,000 public excessive colleges within the U.S. reached that regular and earned a spot on the list, according to the Washington post.

We do not encompass any magnet or charter excessive college that attracts this type of excessive concentration of true college students that its usual SAT or ACT score exceeds the maximum standard for any commonplace-enrollment school in the nation. This year, that intended such schools needed to have a typical SAT ranking beneath 2023 or a regular ACT rating below 28.5 to be blanketed on the leading list.

The problem Index is designed to determine schools which have performed the surest job in persuading regular students to take college-stage lessons and exams. It does not work with faculties that don’t have any, or virtually no, commonplace students. We put these faculties on our Public Elites list.
